If you find yourself at a crossroads, disillusioned, and unsure where you are headed, you are not alone.

Tuesday, April 12, is the biggest astrological event of 2022, the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Pisces. The last time it happened was 1856, making it a once in a lifetime event.

This takes place at 9:23 am ET, so won't be visible from most of the United States or Europe because it is daytime, possible to see in the early morning on the West Coast, in South America, or in Australia, India, other places where it’s night or just before dawn.

While Jupiter is visible without a telescope, Neptune is not, you may be able to see them together through binoculars.

Jupiter

Expansion, knowing, luck, abundance, generosity, optimism, virtue, ideals.

Jupiter has a Great Red Spot that resembles an eye, illustrating Jupiter’s association with right perception.

Neptune

Imagination, inspiration, imagery, fantasy, escape, sacrifice, deception, illusion, glamour.

Neptune’s color as captured by spacecraft is bright blue, and in Roman mythology Neptune is the god of the sea.

Pisces, the sign they are both in (and co-rule) is a mutable water sign associated with transcendence, and represents the dreamer, the mystic, and the poet.

Analysis

What these two planets have in common is an association with faith and surrender. Personally, I find myself facing unknowns and unable to manipulate the outcome the way I previously thought I could, so in this conjunction I find an invitation to let go. To take a leap of faith.

A good reflection question is, what do you believe in? Yourself? Your environment? If you were to believe it will all work out, how does that change things?

To see how this conjunction will affect you, look at your birth chart for any planets at exactly 23 degrees, or close.

Interpreting for your birth chart

For planets at or near 23 degrees,

  • Planets at (or near) 23 degrees in Pisces: Find relief or support in activities that are soothing to you, whether through visiting a waterfront, listening to beautiful music, or a spiritual practice such as meditation
