It’s time to harness inspiration into captivating plot points.

You’re a talented writer who wants to see your work validated by the marketplace, and right now, you’re probably…

  • Struggling to carve out as many hours a week as you’d like, between juggling the work that pays you, parenting, and other creative projects and obligations

  • Frustrated that when you do sit down to write, your sentences sound like they were written by an earnest 12-year-old

  • Overwhelmed because you don’t just need time, but also a clear mind to objectively evaluate your work for improvement

  • Derailed by a plot point and then you’re forced to wait for inspiration to find your way forward

  • Feeling despair because once this writing project is completed, you already have the next idea (or more!) cued up, so your writing process needs to be sustainable long-term

I know what you’re thinking…

You’ve already tried Pomodoro. Time blocking. Accountability buddies. Word count goals. Pausing your writing mid-sentence when the timer rings to hold some creative juice for the next session. Morning pages. Writing prompts. Plotting. Pantsing. A social media cleanse.

But it just doesn’t work. That’s OK! I’m here to help.

If you’ve already tried every method recommended by Ernest Hemingway, Stephen King, and Haruki Murakami, but the words on the page don’t capture the vision in your head, then it’s time to stop fixing YOU.

It’s time for a new perspective.

The secret is: When you reliably get into creative flow, two things happen: You don’t need as much time to write because you’re more productive, but you also feel secure in devoting more time, because you trust your output.

My creativity course for writers is unlike any other, because it brings together my experiences as a journalist and fiction writer, with my training in meditation, energy healing, intuition development, and astrology.

This course is for those of you not afraid to try a little woo-woo to get into creative flow.

However, this is NOT empty affirmations or pop positive psychology. It’s also NOT specific advice on routines or practices. We’re all unique. I’m going to teach fundamentals of creativity, which you can then apply in the way that works best for you.

What I’m actually going to show you is a new (and dare I say, more accurate!) paradigm of reality, with a basis in both ancient wisdom and modern quantum physics. In this paradigm, creativity is “channeled” between dimensions.

Making time to write isn’t about time at all, but about connection. Just like a high Wi-Fi speed streams better video, when you have a solid connection, you write better sentences. Let’s get you plugged into the network.

What this looks like is engaging with spiritual practices that help you feel mentally, emotionally, and physically secure. Imagine that during the 30-minute window between a work call and a doctor’s appointment, you get a few pages of your novel written, and it’s as easy and pleasurable as watching an episode of Ted Lasso.

With this new paradigm, you will increase productivity and even find yourself writing at an elevated level of craft.

What I’m actually going to show you is a new paradigm of reality, where creativity is channeled between dimensions.

This is what you’ll learn in my self-paced creativity course for fiction writers.

I designed Time to Write to help you make creative flow tangible, and turn it on whenever you want to. Let’s look inside!

Here’s a quick peek into the Course Modules:

Week 1 — Paradigm Shift: Matter vs. Energy

A fresh perspective on reality, cultural origins of this “new” point of view, and how it applies to writing. This will help you see where some of your current writing practices are counter-productive.

Week 2 — Nervous System Regulation

What happens to both your physical and energetic anatomy when you’re in fight or flight, versus a regulated state, and how it impacts your creative output.

Week 3 — Writing Is Channeling

Intuition development to better harness inspiration and translate it into creative decisions, plot points, and self-critique to improve your craft.

Week 4 — Writing Is Healing

Unpublished writing may feel like solitary or even invisible work, but guess what: You’re manipulating energy on other dimensions and this has a real impact on our world and everyone in it. Your inspiration is an assignment to write, for your healing and others.

Hi, I’m Dani.

I’m on a mission to help writers self-actualize to share their talents. Unlike most book coaches, I’m not about deadlines or accountability.

I work with people to re-regulate their nervous system so they can self-motivate from inspiration, not the inner critic.

I’m a book editor, podcast host, and yoga and meditation teacher.

 FAQs

  • Yes! This is a creativity course, and because I’m a fiction writer, many of my examples come from writing, but the concepts in this course apply to all kinds of creativity—illustration, podcasting, or even entrepreneurship.

  • You'll get lessons in your email three times a week for four weeks—12 lessons total. Each week there will be at least one practical exercise. I would estimate it takes four hours each week to get through the content and exercise. But, you don't have to do the lessons as soon as they come to you, and can take longer to digest the information. The content is information-heavy, and you will also get more out of it each time you go over it, should you decide to repeat the course.

  • A popular saying in the writing community is that "your last book won't write the next one."

Each book is its own animal with unique challenges.

This course will be accessible to someone writing their first novel, and also useful for anyone navigating an upper limit, ambitious project, or new challenges later in their writing career.

  • I can share my personal rule for investing in my writing, which, for many years, I had no proof it would ever earn money or even be seen by anyone. I invest in a course when I hit a plateau. When I've read books and blog posts and practiced on my own, and can't see how to surmount the gap to get better. I believe that when we hit the plateau, we could spend 10 days or 10 years and not make any headway. From there, I do a mix of narrowing down what area I need help in, and what teacher or coach I'm intuitively drawn to. I look for someone who has what I want or is a step ahead of me on the journey, and I binge their free online content to see if it's a vibe fit. Once I've done that, I feel pretty good about giving them cash, because by that point they've already helped me.

  • Due to the digital nature of this course, there are no refunds.

  • I channeled it 🙃

If you’re wondering if it is possible for you to finish your novel … yes, you can.

The only question is when.

You can keep waiting for the perfect paid sabbatical, or time in your schedule to magically open up, but you already know that feeling that the years are passing you by and you’re still stuck on draft one.

Let’s reset the narrative and make writing fiction as pleasurable as reading, together!
